Arts Night Out in Northmapton

Every second Friday of the month is Arts Night Out in Northampton, Mass. If you’ve never been to see all the amazing art, well, by all means, make sure to come out tomorrow evening!

I will be one of the featured artists of the month at Wall Talk Art and Design. I will have a mixture of my art from the last few shows I’ve had on display all together in one space, for your enjoyment! Maybe even some you haven’t seen!

It will be a very festive evening with the holiday spirit in the air. So, come by and say hello!

Wall Talk Art and Design, is located on the 2nd floor of The Wool Store and Turn It Up.

Selena’s art is now on display in Hartford

The Botany of Joy – my show of floral images is now currently on display at the Charter Oak Cultural Center, 21 Charter Oak Ave, Hartford, CT.

Opening reception is Thursday, December 2nd, 5:30- 7:30pm

Wine and hors d’oeuvres will be served.

The exhibit is open Monday-Friday 10:00am- 4:00pm and will be on display through January 28th 2011

The 2010 Art Exhibit and Auction to Benefit Autism

This Friday, November 19th, will be the exciting evening of the 2010 Art Exhibit to Benefit Autism Speaks. I have donated a piece of art for this amazing event that will be auctioned off, along with more of my work, which will be on display and for sale. There will be over 40 different local artists participating and as of today almost 500 people have reserved tickets for this event! Surely, you don’t want to miss out on this awesome event! An open beer and wine bar along with great food and fabulous art, all to support a really good cause!

This event will be held at The All-New Balise Lexus, Riverdale Street, West Springfield, Mass. Hosted by Crystal Childs with support from Balise and the Autism Speaks New England Chapter. Tickets are $25.00/per person and ALL proceeds from tickets sales go to Autism Speaks. Tickets WILL be available at the door, but I suggest reserving/paying for them ahead of the event.

Selena’s website gets a re-design!

Welcome!! The website is looking pretty spiffy, as I launch the re-designed style of Photography by Selena. Very exciting news – I will now be able to personally edit my site and bring to you more recent images and keep you updated on my current shows and all that jazz.

I hope you enjoy this new creation as I bring to you some of the amazing images of nature! Also, if you haven’t already, please join my Facebook page for more exciting tidbits on the adventures of Photography by Selena.

I would also like to take a moment to thank Molly McLeod for all the work she has put into helping me get this new site up and running! So, thank you, Molly!
